The enhanced C166S V2 architecture from Infineon Technologies provides outstanding performance rise to the existing C166 family. Features like single cycle instruction execution, advanced interrupt handling and DSP functionality make this architecture to the ideal core solution for embedded applications.
The new derivatives XC161CJ, XC164CS and XC167CI - which are based on the C166S V2 architecture - include either on-chip Flash or ROM memory, and provide an intelligent selection of on-chip peripherals like CAN, A/D converters and PWM modules. Typical applications are in the automotive areas like electrical power steering, intelligent head lamp control or multi phase drive control.
